What is Hypnosis?

Hypnosis is a trance-like, relaxing mental state in which people experience increased attention, concentration, and suggestibility. While hypnosis is often described as a sleep-like state, it is better expressed as a state of focused attention, heightened suggestibility. People in a hypnotic state often seem sleepy and zoned out, but are actually in a state of hyper-awareness.

Since the 1950s,

hypnosis has been recognized as an accepted form of treatment.

Every year, more and more people seek out appointments with hypnotherapists to find a healthy way to control fears and negative behaviours.

Hypnotherapy.

A very powerful, permanent healing

In a typical session with me, you can expect for us to go over your goals, I learn the best method of hypnotherapy based on your goals and create a plan that is safe and most pleasant for you. Every session is different and completely tailor-made for you and your goals. Some issues can be dealt with in only 1 to 2 sessions, but others require more. It is all dependent on what we uncover during the session. It is important to know that while in a hypnosis session, you are safe and completely in control at all times. You are never asleep during a hypnosis session. It is a lot like guided meditation in a sense. The healing power of the subconscious mind can be directed to the body or mental problem and be very powerful, permanent healing.

Hypnotherapy is self-hypnosis and

I am the facilitator.

You are the engine and I am the steering wheel. The alternate state in which you are in is self-created, and self-control. It is safe, completely natural and a very pleasing experience.

Most people walk through the world in a trance of disempowerment. Our work is to transform that into empowerment.
